| So im kinda worried about the hurricanes. I will have a four hour delay in miami when i go to barbados next month. I heard that november ends the hurricane season, but still. im kinda scared. Especially since i will be traveling on my own. Oh well...lets pray for the best. | | |
| i love my new apt! its so peaceful here. from our balcony you can see royce and powell...ill try and post pics when i get them. tonight daniela mercury is performing at royce hall and im excited to see her again. she performed at the Brazilian concert in paris on bastille day and she was soo good. i cant wait. some red wine and daniela = wonderful night. | | |
| im really missing nicaragua and costa rica. I watched motorcycle diaries last night and the part where they are on the river reminded me of the San Juan river and how they were helping people with leprosy. ok well i wasnt doing that but we were still giving medical care to the villages off the rivers. i just want to be back there. i would rather be back on that river in the motorized canoe than anywhere else right at this moment. ill go back someday... | | |
| wow...long time no write. this summer was a blast. paris will forever hold a special place in my heart. puja and i are inseparable and having lots of fun hanging out...going camping and to the houseboat. i love my roomie and my apartment...except for the bugs. the view is amazing and im looking forward to coffee on the balcony on cold winter nights. today...i hiked Echo Mountain trail in the San Gabriel mountains...6 miles! my body is aching and yet im sitting here at the computer typing away. I realized im addicted to traveling and i am contemplating visiting cathy in barbados next month. im excited because i think it will really happen. ok im tired and i should get rest. lord knows my body will be sore tomorrow. nite nite! | | |
| Ive been so stressed lately...about alot of things really...too many at once i suppose. Jie and i have been looking for apts and we think we finally found one...of all places - the Hobbit place! we actually liked this place last year and named it the hobbit place because its got little arches and the doors are green and have a little trap door things as a peep hole. We fell in love with the place and met the manager and she gave us an application. So i think thats outta the way. My history midterm is my main focus from now until tuesday. Ugh...i can hear music playing loudly because frats and people insist on making cinco de mayo a holiday even though Mexicans in freakin Mexico dont even celebrate it. Anyway...i have been sleep deprived lately...have a hospital shift tomorrow morning and so i have to wake up at 5:30am - tons of fun. But...i kinda like it...getting up all extra early and starting my day..theres something refreshing about it. Ok i should just drink my tea and go to sleep. gnite all. | | |
